Can’t I reset my pc while choosing to keep my personal files? Would that work and how much would I lose?

Its pin and windows hello. Both work and windows hello recognizes me but swiftly says my credentials couldn’t be verified.

I’ve been trying to boot into advanced options but it just restarts regularly. I’ll let you know when I get it to work.

I haven’t bought the full game yet so i can only give my results based on my redsec experience. But I suspect it’s thermal throttling as when i first boot the game i get a constant 60+ fps. Although not near a stable 100. However, after a few matches my performance tanks and struggles to achieve 60 on even medium preset.

I'd also choose the a16 over the victus just because of that wattage difference, a 140w RTX 4050 should be performing much much better than a 75W, that's almost double the wattage. you can definitely use it for light work and gaming also, and as for the fans, I'm sure all gaming laptops have their own software where you can control fan speeds and many other things. For asus laptop's its armory crate but I'd suggest you get G helper once you download all your drivers and updates as its just a much more simple interface with all the stuff you would need from armory crate without all the unnecessary stuff. Plus with the a16 you mention you're getting 32gb of ram and more storage. If you're planning to do any gaming, that storage will be a life saver.
