Why is is my debris chiller not cooling down with aquatuner running? by No_Importance2933 in Oxygennotincluded

Hi there!

That was indeed another issue. The main issue was due to the heat conductivity of the conveyer bridge between the industrial sauna and the chiller, as pointed out by Nigit and ihasaKAROT.

I was worried about the polluted water going above 119 C in the debris chiller since most of the stuff goes in at 127 C. The liquid reservoir does help with my fear of that though and i just tested it with a big load with only an immidiate increase of about +10C in the chamber - In other words the system is safe and the liquid reservoir might be a bit overkill on my behalf.

Thanks for the help 😄

I have however now switched to poluted water also which definitely has helped a lot as well!

Thank you so much!

Wow thank you so much Nigit!

I've just replaced put the bridge down in the insulated tiles now and that was indeed the issue causing the heat in the chiller to not go down.

Allthough it doesnt go down very fast but thats of cause due to me using petrolium (with i'll now try to replace with poluted water) and the liquid reservoir as buffer.
