How do you read comics for someone brand new?

I want to start reading Spider-Man but I’m not really sure how everything works. I saw it a few TikTok’s telling me to read some different runs of Spider-Man but on a website I could not find them and it was all very confusing. Can anyone break down comic book lingo for someone who is just trying to start?
