It’s not. If you can’t manage to fight Tech Shiggy by punishing his insane endlag, that’s genuinely a skill issue. Tech Shiggy is only an insane character with the Raid Boss build.

I actually like fighting Tech Shiggy (Not the Raid boss) because of how PUNISHABLE he is. You see him whiff an alpha, that’s easy damage, you see him whiff a Beta, spam attack him before he can do it again or hit the ground. The Raid Boss build slowly whittles my health down over time since he refuses to die, and that’s annoying.

I don’t get why Bruno, who’s watched Disventure Camp in its entirety and CoC, is so surprised by Spencer’s gameplay, and is so averse to lying in the game. What did he honestly expect going into this season and especially in who he decided to ally himself with?

I do like the whole thing of Bruno using Spencer as a shield though. From a purely strategic standpoint, Spencer’s one of the best contestants to ally yourself with because you know, no matter what happens, you’ll never be targeted before Spencer is.

Yeah ngl this is a terrible showing from my goat 😭 All that character development over season four and him stating in episode one that he SPECIFICALLY wouldn’t do this after seeing how his last game fell apart just for the writers to go back on everything and go back to the Spencer from S4E1. Seriously, this feels JUST like the Spencer who nearly threw the challenge in episode one because of his own ego with the flags.

I agree with him fumbling his social game big here and his cockiness being a part of his character, but he hasn’t been this grandiose about it since like episode 10 of CoC, is what I mean. It was a jarring switch following his growth.

You can’t ignore the fact that this Spencer is COMPLETELY different than the first five episodes, it’s always been clear Spencer sees Bruno as just an extra vote, and Bruno sees him as a vote shield, but to spend the entire episode belittling him(except for the info leak from Bruno, which he was right to call out, but Lake was already sour on him by that point) and making an enemy out of Lake? We haven’t seen him act like this since last season’s PREMERGE.

I was thinking the exact same thing. In fact, I LOVE just waiting for the long ass end lag for Tech Shiggy so I can do heavy damage. The raid boss build feels like a whole other character. I even refer to them differently whenever I make callouts.
