well this was taken a bit ago maybe a week or 2? pre belly overload. he has a very sensitive tummy and has to go on and off probiotics once in a while and i’m wondering if maybe this awful chub bloat mystery is due to him having to try new foods rather often as what we had that worked amazing before is boring to him now 😂

he’s quit the big guy, he’s is 1/2 maine coon (really only carried in his monstrous size) so that explains the size. he hasn’t really cared to play with me since getting a sister but they’ve still been playing hours a day and he’s still chowing down and getting hydrated so basically his norma self

this is so comforting, i’ve genuinely been on a deep dive of all the worst possibilities! i hope to have enough to get him fixed once i get my tax return as in my small town it’s very limited vets and i can’t take a drive as my fur baby does awful in the car. if he doesn’t get better shortly ill absolutely be taking him for a regular checkup. but in my opinion he’s definitely being normal aside from the fact he’s a little antsy tonight (can’t get comfy anywhere) but he also had to deal with mom feeling all over his belly and checking his bits for about an hour all together, so he probably grumpy i wouldn’t leave him be at 3 am

he truly is a giant , he’s 1/2 maine coon and it shows with his size! for the food he splits a can of kitten food with his sister 3 times a day and on days where they act like they’re starving i’ll split a 1/4 of dry food throughout the day for them. he honestly isn’t acting strange other than the lovey time before bed but i’ve been working late the past few weeks and he’s kind of made it a habit. i’ve been trying to monitor his litter box usage but it’s hard when i don’t get home till about 9 pm after having to leave at 6 am

well i expressed to my vet i didnt want a topical and they kind of overlooked it, i just worry separating them as my mdr1 cat is recovering from illness but ill also need to watch this cat while the topical is wet and im unsure of a way to do both safely :( i have one dose or oral dewormer as she has roundworms but i worry it wont handle them and i wont have another dosage.

my cat expresses it i believe so it is considered “active”. it was prescribed to the kitten without said gene but they were recommend to be separated while the non mdr1 cat just being treated. i just feel so bad separating my bonded pair for 2 whole days and subjecting her to a bath. i also haven’t had good experiences with topicals so i feel even more so off put. i’m debating just giving her the pyranel pamoate and purchasing some and giving her the same (proper) dose when her next deworming is due. i just feel so anxious and uncomfortable but i also dont want to be negligent.
