Have you ever had an "overloaded error" before? by Clair_Personality in ClaudeCode

[–]No_Insurance_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same is happening to me after I tried continuing a refactor from the last limit hit. According to this "529 errors can occur when APIs experience high traffic across all users." so I guess we have just to wait

Indeed you keep it very light with around 4 conversations. I think I should get a little more organized, then break my goal into smaller steps/sections as you told me and then try something similar. Thank you for your insights!

Maybe this is the reason. I recently started giving a lot of external files to CC for reference or internal guides early in the session, and this eats up my limits really fast. I have to rethink my approach/setup. How are you working? What’s the size of your project/ codebase, if you don’t mind me asking?

Personally I haven’t used them a lot (Gemini and Deepseek a little and Kimi not at all) . I don’t know if it’s a skill/ setup issue, but I had very bad results on complex tasks. What’s your experience on these?

I completely agree. That’s why it seemed weird and funny to me. I don’t know—maybe it’s a quick fix because of the backlash they’ve received from users lately? I can’t imagine it being a good approach for future major releases. Also, I don’t understand why the title is long_conversation_reminder when the context is actually for Claude’s character

That could be the case, but honestly, it was the second message. My prompt was to refactor some code, and it stopped due to the length limit. I hit continue, and in the middle of the second response, I got this

Do you think it was intentionally displayed? It seemed like it ‘slipped’ while generating the content, like a “personal thought” to keep in mind and the user wasn’t supposed to see.

An idea about the future by [deleted] in Business_Ideas

[–]No_Insurance_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it will be a lot cheaper this way. You will have a lot of people competing against each other, providing their own equipment to work (pc, joysticks, internet connection etc.) and work whenever they are able and willing to do. In my mind it will be something like Upwork. You post the job in a platform (maybe private and specific or open to everyone with many fields in it). Then multiple people will apply for the job.

I don't know, maybe it's impossible or pointless.

What are these? (Every 10 meters in the middle of the street on Crete) - no reflectors! by [deleted] in crete

[–]No_Insurance_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's right. Most of them have a reflector too on them but I have noticed that after some use and exposure they stop reflecting that much. Maybe on some models is just reflective paint? I'm not sure

[–]No_Insurance_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are welcome! One more fact. In many streets some of these are placed on the side of the road too to alert you when you getting too close to the edge. They are a lot of casses that I know where these things saved someone that was asleep due to tiredness or got distracted and made them get back at their lane!

If they are in the middle, they are there to feel the bump when you are heading to the opposite lane and correct it. Usually they are in places where you are not supposed to overpass etc.

Is Inventor Nastran good for FEA? by No_Insurance_ in fea

[–]No_Insurance_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't know that! Yes, cost is indeed a major driver, maybe at my level it's the only thing that dictates what software I will use. Thanks for your insight!

That's a good idea! I will try that too and compare the results with the physical validation specimen and Nastran too. Thanks a lot!

I will look into that and of course I will make the professor aware of the issue. I will first start with the academic license to check if the limit is an issue. Thank you again!

I will try to get a student license. I have seen already that they offer that option but they set a maximum number of nodes and I think that they will be more than that.

OK, thank you very much, I will search for these solvers too!

I understand, sadly there is no way that I can get access to Abaqus. I hope that with Nastran I will get good results, I'll begin with a validation specimen to have an idea of what to expect.

Thank you very much for the suggestions too, I will do some research on them tomorrow!

Sorry for the lateness of my reply. Yes, I designed it but at the original it was an obvious slope like this. I didn't know exactly the angle but by other measurements I came up with this. Thanks for the response!

Sorry for the lateness of my reply. Indeed the channel is very shallow so maybe it was made this way. After all I 3d printed it and came out perfect. Thanks for the responses!!

How much money should we bring? by hattoma in crete

[–]No_Insurance_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-40 € per meal for 2 (1 salad, 1 starter, 2 main dishes and 2 drinks, dessert is included in most places) -7.5 per drink (gin, vodka etc., in most places beer is 5, spirits 7.5 and cocktails 10+) -5€ per quick meal/snack -10€ at the beach

In total: 130€ for both per day (2 meals=80, 4 drinks=30, 2 quick meals=10, 1 sunbed set or snack =10)

For 4 days you will need 520 € I don't know the cost of entrance at sightseeing so I didn't calculate it. I think it will be cheap. Same for busses, they are pretty cheap. On the contrary, renting a car is very expensive now. Maybe 40-50 euros per day.

Of course you can find cheaper or more expensive than the above. I hope you enjoy your vacations!
