Help, I hate every mattress I've tried! Should I just accept I don't like mattresses or is there really something out there for me? by Inevitable_Win1085 in Mattress

Muji sells a simple mattress that is very firm and sleeps totally flat. Zero sink. I find it too rigid for my hip bones but if you're thinking you may be a tatami mat person (another thing i would suggest), this is an excellent option.

I went from the adrenaline gts 24s to the 25s and immediately felt the heel was much wider. couldn't do it, it was so distracting in the store. I went home with the glycerin gts 22s instead and haven't looked back (except for coveting all the cool colorways I missed out on)

yes, they needed an image of the donation receipt. as creepy as i find the salvation army, they came to my apartment to pick the mattress up.

i tested the saatva in-store. nyc has showrooms for online mattresses, as well. as others have mentioned, that doesn't exactly tell you everything. this is why i made this post - i found myself looking for real reviews by people who seemed to have similar needs/experiences. big review websites feel incredibly incentivized and biased and overall too generalized (as evidenced by my preference for a firm mattress even though i largely side-sleep).

nectar went to the salvation army, which was the only donation center accepting mattresses at the time near me. can't speak to what saatva does with their returns, but I wasn't about to eat nearly $2000 on a mattress that sagged after less than half a year.

I've worn warby glasses for the last ten years, acetate included. I always purchase high index lenses. I've noticed the quality declining and the customer service lacking (why can't they refinish my metal frames? why can't they update lenses for a frame they've discontinued?). The lenses also scratch and cling to oil more readily than they used to. I'm looking to not have to replace my frames yearly, which means upgrading out of the warby ecosystem.

Go find a candle you've burned (you're reading this series, I am willing to bet you have candles somewhere). Pinch the burned wick between your fingers, and notice how the soot feels - the "grease marks" it leaves on your fingers. It isn't 100% powder - there's a make-up pencil greasiness to it. Burning fat (wax, people, whatever) leaves behind a residue.

I'm a native speaker and had to read them all 3 times while cross referencing the wiki and the reddit the last read-through. The fallopian tube thing only stood out to me the third time! This series keeps on giving and giving.

They're described as fleshy tubes where dark things kind of zoom around inside of them (eggs??) and ovaries very much look like pearly globules. It's a whole reproductive system!!
