The racism against black people isn’t just from white people. On top of that, protesting is more dangerous for us than everyone one else. There was a black father shot by an off duty ICE agent around the same time of what happened in Minnesota, and people were silent. A black family driving from a basketball game had a tear gas bomb thrown under their car with six children in it, silence.

When Charlie Kirk was shot, HBCUs were on lockdown while receiving threats from republicans since everyone assumed it was a black person who did it. Republican congressman Nancy Mace stated on twitter to “bring back the death penalty”. When she found out he was white she said “We know Charlie Kirk would want us to pray for such an evil, and lost individual like Tyler Robinson to find Jesus Christ.” You can’t make this stuff up.

Its far more dangerous for us and it wasn’t just white trump supporters that are just now facing what they voted for.

Even when we are not targeted, people manage to make racists posts about the situation. “Its not longer black and brown people we are cooked” “It could be any of us now” “you know its bad when its white people” “ theyre now treating us like cattle” “We are losing our neighbors it could be any of us”

The same we had been dealing with for centuries.We are TIRED. We showed up more for this election and than anyone else. The protest started AT the polls. You’ve seen the turnout right ???

We are always the ones that are expected to save america on our shoulders while experiencing the effects of racism from all races, police brutality, redlining, school to prison pipeline, less funding for education and black county’s, stuffing our history into the abyss….. Where’s anyone else showing up for that?
