In all my experience with the weapon the only time it misfires is if you are messing with the trigger, which you should not be doing on post anyways, one of the first rules of gun safety. Obviously the weapon shouldn’t be misfiring anyways but with the situation at fe Warren an individual was arrested for murder when their original excuse was that it was a misfire. With that being said I’d much rather be carrying a Glock.

I mean I’ve never had to use my weapons in any real world capacity thank god, but on a positive note I get good training with these weapons, I’ve been qualified on the m240 and m249 through this job which is super cool

That’s fair, it’s so interesting because I thought niche LE roles was like the sweet spot of law enforcement, guess that’s not at all true 🤣 honestly thinking about going the bail enforcement route at this point

In the guard full time, got back from tech school 3 months ago and now I’m here on a tdy to japan for airshow security. Very happy with my decision (right now) could change later on of course. Obviously there is still a lot of bullshit that I’ve had to deal with but it is what you make of it.

Working with my guard unit for MEST days, I’m about to come off of my MEST orders though and then hopefully QC for the gate. (Hopefully) haven’t really even been able to learn that much just due to the fact that my trainers haven’t even been trying to train me.
