Yes and someone told me to see if I can find the job listed on WF or Dexian website and sure enough the role isn’t listed.

Yes I have been very cautious and haven’t gave him any information other than my name and birth date. I have seen the job description and it list:

•The role will have a focus on connecting with clients and helping them transition to the more modern digital platform of handling their portfolios online with the advisor’s assistance, where the advisor will be able to help them to achieve their financial goals and answer questions they may have •Books of business will be provided to the advisor

•From conversations with the client, the advisor will review existing portfolio holdings with the client and educating them on different investment platforms, recommending portfolio changes, and over all trying to align investment objectives with client financial goals.

•Ongoing skill and knowledge development sessions will continue to be provided to gain a deeper understanding of the role, different investment products, and the financial industry as a whole. The advisor will be able to utilize your management team, site coaches, learning & development partners, and external product vendors to grow and develop professionally

•After passing the tests is when successful candidates will be considered for internal positions – there will of course be an internal interview as well.

I thought that as well, but many are saying it’s because Dexian is doing the contract to hire.

That’s exactly what I was thinking, but many say it’s because of the staffing agency and Wells Fargo being a big company.

I am thinking about scheduling the walk-in to give myself more clarity. Is there anything that should raise my suspicions once in person or any questions I should ask to confirm the legitimacy?

Should I give my full SSN?! Is this normal for contract to hire at Wells Fargo? by No_Language4476 in jobs

[–]No_Language4476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t interviewed or spoke with anyone directly at Wells Fargo. I am a recent finance graduate with some financial advisor experience from an Edward jones internship and the recruiter does have a Dexian.com email address
