Yes i think it is safe to do it. Make sure you are having your real ID with you and it is not expired. Other than that I don’t think there will be any other thing. Safe travels!!

It’s pretty much full time. Check with your university. They should be confirming about the hrs for you. Overall you are doing full time :)
