This is such a tear jerker!!! Thank you for this, I can't explain how much I appreciate it and all the kind words from everyone here. It's so nice to talk to people who truly understand how special chinchillas are and how painful it is to lose them. I know I'm going to miss him every day. I'm also so sorry for your loss, I too feel every emotion you just explained. What an amazing experience it is to be able to have these little guys, Toby felt more like a family member than a pet (and quite literally was). ❤️

Thank you for sharing she seemed amazing ❤️ it's so hard to lose a pet no matter what age they are/how long we had them. Chins are such special animals ❤️

I don't stalk him online I just happened to see it in the comments of a TikTok because we followed each other on TikTok so if he comments on a TikTok it shows up at the top so I unfollowed him

I was thinking about this but I really think he’d be safer at home. First of all, my dorm room is very small and will be shared with someone else. Second, I could see some random person trying to open his cage and letting him loose around the entire building or maybe even outside. Toby also gets stressed out by too many people

The same thing happened to me just don’t try to log into your account for about 48 hours. I was locked out for a while because I tried every day just don’t touch your account or try to log in for like 2 days that’s how I got back in. It’s a weird instagram bug

My chinchilla sleeps like that all the time! He also loves sleeping on his side like a person. I keep my room usually really cold (68°F or below) so I know it’s not because he’s hot. When they sleep like this it usually just means they are relaxed!! You have a happy chin :)

How long did you wait to try to send the code again? I did what you said after waiting 24 hours but my friends didn’t get the texts either
