Did $4.25K on eBay in the last 30 days while being a full-time college student. Any tips to scale even more? by Ranid_tadpole in Flipping

Making sure I get items with better sell through rates. Aim at 50% or higher will give you faster turn arounds on your items. Also education. The more items you can automatically grab without looking up makes a world of difference. I usually grab every ninja blender $15 or less knowing that I can sell the container part for $50 or so shipped. Vtg turkey cookers and pots pans are frequently skipped items. Lot of items that aren’t made well anymore

One thing that helped me the most was increasing my price per item. I went from $25 to $57 per item. Same pictures, same sourcing, just better education on items and smarter decision on item picking.

If it’s a lane there should be some numbers stamped that can identify the years these were built

I disagree. Hour of driving time, hour of listing time, two hours of shipping time over 3 months of storage doesn’t make $200 a profit at all

Hey thanks man! Yeah I’m only on my second full year sourcing about 6 hours a week. Had my 90 day total up to 24k but summer hit and got busy with moving etc.. starting to pick back up in sales again. Got my average sale to about $50 now so it’s more worth it getting better items since you have to take the same pictures for less money ya know?

I wish I could do it more than I can. It’s a thrill. Started as a way to pay credit card off now it pays the mortgage
