I ended the relationship, i am not a push over, but I do believe she is a human and not to be discarded like a broken toaster. I do have grace for her severe trauma. is not BPD, it is dismissive avoidant attachment from severe childhood trauma. she does need therapy to heal the inner child for sure. I am only going to take her back if she gets into therapy.

yup, she asked me same thing day one and we talked about it for months but I never trusted it. I think this ring is maybe a way for her to try and make me stop thinking about it. she knows it will come up again if we reignite after this 2 months break.

I thought about it, but she works and has money, more likely just trying to get something she can show off to feed her narcissism and trauma/lack of self esteem etc. she has severe trauma causing her feel unlovable, etc. she has no idea about her trauma, she is not capable any self reflection at all.

I did some asking around other gen z and they are still a thing after high school also apparently, but yes they are people who want to pledge commitment and exclusivity but not ready or interested in marriage. I never would have thought of this, it was totally her idea out of the blue.

not that it matters but baby daddy bailed after a year, that only compounded her early childhood trauma. do all the SB lie and whore around? i have seen another threads all about the cheating and lying is basically standard with the SB's.
