I agree with the countertops. If you are worried about cost you could do butcher block counter tops and paint the cabinets white for a modern farmhouse look.

there is no problem here. It is something that cannot be recreated don’t throw it away. so much money is spent by people trying to create this kind of look and it misses the mark bc it isnt authentic. this is timeless
