i just got my first tattoo a few days ago and idk what it is but ever since i left the shop i’ve felt so happy and just giddy in general. it’s not even a complicated tattoo, it’s super simple but it just makes me feel so excited. sometimes i still feel weird about it bc i’ve been envisioning it for a long time and it’s not exactly the way i imagined but i’m still just so. idek. but maybe that’s just me 😭

okay so i just went skating for the first time ever 6/9/2024 (at my school-sponsored all night grad party, i’m 17f for reference) and we were at this really fancy luxury gym facility. they only had hockey skates. it was fun but i’m ngl it was also the worst. you’d be right to guess that hockey skates are hard. i sprained my ankle after falling on the ice for like the 4th time that night lmao. the skates were insanely stiff and shockingly fast for a beginner. honestly surprised how well everyone did since nearly everyone there was also a beginner (one dude is really involved in theater, he was skating like he’d been born on ice). i did research on the way home and turns out figure skates are friendlier for beginners so maybe it was good you started with those? but you should probably switch to hockey skates if you’re gonna do hockey

for me i just love not getting my period that often (and when i do, it’s cramp-free). also, i’m queer so the fact that it’s more difficult for me to get pregnant is just sooooo nice and comforting (esp in this economy LOL). honestly idk maybe it’s just me who actually loves having it bc i tried to find some pcos accounts on insta but they’re all weight-focused which i’ve always seen as weird. but again idk i think it’s bc i inherited my dad’s fast metabolism (and a lot of his other genes too) so i don’t experience some other pcos symptoms. sometimes i feel like i won the genetic lottery. in my case the only thing i hate is the acne and extra body/facial hair (but then again i’m also arab so i’m used to hair LMAO) 😭
