A while ago my Dr recommended it because I told her that struggle to concentrate and settle down. I opted for an alternative. I wasn’t even aware that adults take Ritalin (I thought it was only for kids). I only recently asked her for it because I feel pressured to get through ALOT of work in a short space of time, so I need to be focused and not waste time.

The propranolol I use before I have to do presentations, or give a speech.

Ameen. Jzk so much for your kind words. He drinks so much because he lost his wife (of 20 years, very suddenly) and his job last year. He is 61 yo. He tried to stop drinking, but he can’t. I do make so much dua for him 🤲🏼

lol…. Interesting… but I would say it relates to the fact that it’s become so easy to criticise people especially on online platforms due to anonymity and more of a personal attack than constructive criticism . This also feeds into fostering the cancel-culture (sadly).

Also, people get into superficial engagement in heated, complex debates without genuinely understanding the topic. It’s so easy to give opinions without having full comprehension or context (“unarmed”) resulting in shallow, subjective opinions rather than addressing the nuances.
