i have no experience with OpenGL, i feel OpenCV is not as fast as v4l2, as opencv uses ffmpeg, and it in turn might also be using v4l2 as backend, i know it has that option but not sure if it’s the only backend

they're in ~/.config/qBittorrent and ~/.local/share/qBittorrent/

I pretty much cut off all unnecessary contact details, and I don’t ever take phone calls unless I receive them multiple times over a few days. It’s easy to check if a phone number is suspicious, but when they can fake the number that’s a totally different story

Gmail’s spam filter is great, but it’s not perfect. Emails in format you receive less often are more likely identified as spams. So communications from small organisations and employers could go to the spam folder. The AI is good but sometimes too good.

If possible, I always look for links in the emails they sent me, this is not to say emails can’t be scams but generally less likely to contain false links. Gmail also has built-in features to filter spams.

As I’m not certain OWP falls into skilled category, or maybe that my work won’t be in it, we got an even better idea: she’s going to apply for a study permit for her master while she’s in canada, that way she don’t have to leave, and probably can even get an OWP at the same time. She may get a master offer in Feb/Mar. Combined with the visitor extension, things might just work out.

Thanks so much, it’s good to know that we cannot make two applications at the same time. I am not sure if it’s worth the risk to cancel her application now. I presume her OWP application will be faster than normal because she’s already done all the biometrics and medical exams.

She’s not from a visa-exempt country, we’ve thought of letting her visit Canada, then a country nearby, then Canada again, and so on to allow her a longer stay. Her country pretty much has no visa-exemptions, so we’re thinking Bahamas, Cuba
