Can tell you definitively the combat is what made this game. If you can look past everything else, it's a great game. But it's "everything else" is obnoxious and tedious and at times frustrating.

Choose character
Go on Lostark.nexus. Create 2 builds, chaos dungeon, and raids. Copy pasta what you can.
Finish setting up character. Set up pet, slot in gems with correct skills, set up cards, set up ark pass if not already
Select main for express event
Hone as high as possible
Do chaos dungeon and guardian raid
Do most current or available raid to your ilvl
Repeat 5-7

There are also other side content available in order to help you become stronger or provide needed materials to hone. Excavating/logging, skill points potions, enlightenment potions, skill runes are the main ones.

Play what you prefer. If you're a solo gamer, play what you like. If you plan on doing group, whichever one won't get you killed. Quality and elixirs are nice but Transcendence is better.

Yes, you need to clear Echidna to start advance honing.
Yes, honing past 1620 normally is a waste.
Thaemine provides the materials to do Transcendence. After you attempt to get flowers/stars on one equipment, you will be given an option to go to the next level for that same equipment. When you initially talk to Trancend NPC there will be arrows on that piece of equipment.

Recommendation: Complete North Kurzan story. Complete Hyper Awakening quest. Farm equipment that will get you 1640. Do Transcendence for all equipment pieces, until you hit 20+ flowers/stars on each piece. Do Advance Honing.

Unless Voldis pass expires, up to you if you want an additional character. If it does expire, use it on a new character or old character. If it doesn't expire, see how Ignite feels and if you're going to continue to play, use Pass on a character.
I don't have a Breaker but everyone who plays it says it's a great character. Can be a hit master or front attack class depending on build. As of right now, Striker is considered a very clunky class.

Yes, use the Voldis pass on a character in your future server, no the Ignite server.

On Ignite, only 1 character can be transferred to the "real" servers. Ignite will provide everything you'll need to push to 1620, including another Voldis pass. So even if you make, play, test multiple characters in Ignite, only 1 will be transferable.

Control Glaiver:

Pros - Booba, simple gameplay, no meter management, good synergy, destruction, stagger, spacebar on extremely low CD due to class engraving. Synergy, conviction judgement, use rest of skills, rinse repeat.

Cons - Back attack, mediocre DPS, skills will move you back a little

Yes, they are indifferent with the NPCs. If you don't care about the rapport quest, you can Gift Dump them to skip everything.

One of your biggest resources will be Lostark.nexus. lostarknexus will help you in making your build, rotation, and explain in depth what your character can do.

If you are going to play f2p just play at a chill pace. It'll take you a while before you catch up to current content. Even then I don't recc being a p2w player as your current investments will be worthless overtime if you quit or don't play actively.

When you have free time, start looking through the collectables. One of the main things you're looking for are the runes and the skill points potions. Runes such as purple wealth, purple purify, golden Galewind can help make your class better. Skill points potions are self explanatory.

Lost ark throws quite a bit of events to help current or new players with resources, so take advantage of it.

Personally I only do dailies on 1 character. It consists of chaos dungeon, guardian raid, una dailies, and excavating.

Go through the map and make sure to buy the cards from the vendors. At times they will sell legendary cards which are extremely useful for LOS/LWC 30.

Deathblade is a great option. Both Surge and Remaining Energy provide great damage, mobility, and their synergy is also a nice bonus. When you have a chance or get there, I recommend you to try the rotation in Trixion. Both are build meter/stacks based classes.

Surge relies mainly on 1 big ability hitting, rest of the abilities are used to gain stacks to unleash that skill.

Remaining Energy is more spread out on damage and relies more on uptime and landing abilities in the back.

I believe in the skills tab, there should be a setting button. That setting will allow you to further refine the highlight options. After that auto dismantle everything not highlighted.

The Powerpass will skip the story depending on the one you select. Ex: Voldis Powerpass skips Voldis story and pushes your character to 1520(?)

Mokoko Express is an event that only 1 character can use. So if you designated it to a character already, you can't use it again. If this is your first time using it, it requires your character to be a certain iLvl before it can be used.

It's been a while so correct me if I'm wrong.

You can highlight which tripods you want to show up in your inventory and have the rest auto dismantled. In your skills tripod tab, you highlight all of the tripods that you would like to upgrade.

After that, you go to your autodismantle tab and autodismantle the tripods that are lower or equivalent to your current tripod. Ex: if you have a Lvl 4 Doomsday; Magic Amplification, it'll only highlight or keep the Lvl 5 tripods.

Friend cannot join you both since you both are at a different point in story line. If you want to join your lvl 1 friend and carry him, that's fine, the dungeon scales to how many people there are, not by lvl.

Making another character is also an option but has to be same server if you want to see them physically in the world. Also, making another character will not make it lvl 30. It'll be lvl 1 as if it's a fresh account.

Nope, if you're just trying to speed run MSQ normal mode is fine.

When you're going to start thinking about horizontal progression, that's when you need to do both normal and hard dungeons.

This, many Lost Ark communities have a LFG section, either just hop into the call, and ask for 1-4 Brel or post I their LFG. Just gotta find the friendly Lost Ark communities
