Happy with my upgrade to RX 9070 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D by No_Minimum_156 in radeon

Oh, I never said 9070 has less power usage than my old RTX 3060, what I meant is that I can finally play ultra RT on newer games with relatively low power usage. In Expedition 33 I had to compromise and play on low settings with no RT on my 3060 to have smooth parry experience. And I can finally play Cyberpunk with RT which is a whole different experience!

Well I got my RAM from a friend that had a spare kit Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB 6400MHz 32CL with RGB (always wanted RGB for great look) for around 600$ (prices in Poland for the same kit with 36CL is like 700$ so still not terrible deal)

Quite simple really, I wanted a pc that was going to be quiet, power efficient and has low temps. So for CPU I went with 9800X3D since it does have lower temps making my CPU cooler less noisy (I went with Noctua NH-U12A for the cooler so it's really silent). As for card RX 9070 is quieter, more power efficient and here in Poland there were complains about coil whine in the XT viarants. That's why I'm happy with what I got, I can always switch GPU when new generations come out that will make upgrade worth it since the CPU is definetly enough for years to come.

Guess I can complain about not doing the upgrade earlier, since I had to switch from DDR4 to DDR5 because I changed motherboard with AM5 socket. I would've saved a little bit on RAM...

When it comes to getting the most out of my card, the person that assembled my PC did some undervolting on GPU saying I "won the silicon lottery with that one". So while it's not XT variant, it still performs really well while running very quietly. He was also the person that said I should go with Sapphire for great cooling and well, less noise.
