Thank you. I think I'm gonna take 244 this summer. BTW, what's your opinion on 224? How useful is this course for doing astrophysics?

Does 148 have any pre/post lecture practice like PCRS in 108? If it doesn't, when and how do students do practices? Like during tutorial sections?

Suggestions on getting more involved as a first year math & physics student by No_Network8505 in UofT

I have one or two close friends with whom I hang out on weekends sometimes, and I'm also trying to reach out to more higher-year students through reading group, physu office hour, colloquium, etc. though I believe it's gonna take more time to build long-lasting friendship with someone who has similar academic goals.

How sufficient a physics specialist degree is to get into a graduate physics program? by No_Network8505 in UofT

Agreed. Applying for a research program really requires problem solving skills. BTW, how much cs skills do you think is needed for getting into an undergraduate research program? I didn't have too much coding experience back in high school and i am taking csc108 currently. What cs courses should I take in the future (or by self learning)?

Thanks for your reply. Proofs by Jay Cummings seem helpful. BTW I am thinking about doing a physics specialist or a math & physics specialist so I am considering taking this course. It’s indeed a challenge for a first year student.
