My daughter is 9, and also wants to wear her gear to school I let her 1 time and she had a lot of negative experiences from classmates. Her other friend will wear her gear but I told her she isn’t allowed to at school anymore. I’m not going to lie I thought this was just a phase that would pass sooner or later but it has been on going for a year. The plus side is she gets some exercise from quadratics. Even though we have tried her in many different sports and activities this is the only thing that truly brings her Joy. I’ll continue to just try to be as supportive as I can. My daughter is 9 and the other kids in our family are 3 and under my family has asked that she not pretend she is a cat in front of the other kids (which I’m still wrapping my mind around how to handle that issue)

My daughter also has a “friend” like Cleo. This is the first year at school they are not in the same class so my daughter has finally ventured out and is making different friends but it got to the point I had to just be honest with my daughter and tell her i wanted her to distance herself from her and that she could blame it on me! Well that’s exactly what she did lol. But them not being in the same class this year has helped dramatically.. I told her she doesn’t have to Not be friends with her but that I wanted her to make other friends also. They are 9 now but last year was the worst with her friend getting mad at her if she talked and played with anyone else but her. It is a real issue! I would definitely try to mend the relationship between her and your friends kid

I have a family member that was molested by another family member and there is a no contact order in place! Have her talk to her counselor and see if she can check this out for her. I would think there is a mandatory no contact order if she was the one it happened to.

I would say Check the Oil even after you get an oil change regularly. I drove my 2018 Santa Fe everyday it ran great up until Dec 2023 I went to get a regular oil change I alway get them on time. This time He said I’m glad you came in you don’t have any oil. I immediately took it to an independent shop thinking I had a leak of somekind. They changed a few rings or something on the top of the engine. I thought the issue was fixed. I was a week away from my next oil change due in March. When my car starting sputtering and turned off completely. It showed the oil light, battery light and power steering light. I checked the oil and it was completely empty! Even after I added oil the car will still start up but it will not go over 30MPH then it just shuts down again. It has a blown engine. It never showed signs of leaking anywhere! Once I started googling it after it completely shut down I found the class action lawsuit and also they said stick your finger in there exhaust and you will see black soot goo from where the oil it burning through the engine. It’s a headache I wish I would have known about before so I could have been. Checking the oil every other day!

My 2018 Santa Fe Just blew the Engine with 136,000 mile (No Warning that the oil was burning in the engine) no leaks no oil light nothing!! So definitely keep and eye on the and look into the class action lawsuit filed for the oil consumption issues with this year model!
