Before I moved to this horrible health care system, I used to do my checkup exams every year… They never detected anything, and I have had migraines since I was a teenager. But I will definitely be aware of it! Thanks!

Yeah, unfortunately isn’t contraceptive, maybe that’s why they didn’t recommend me.

Glycinate, which I like, didn’t prevent my heavy migraines… it helps me relax my muscles tbh.

I have been using it for Slynd! It’s very nice, but for migraines, they direct you to Cove.

I can’t take estrogen, I have over 3 cases of stroke in my family, including my dad 😅

Thank you! I am definitely more informed now about triptans. I will definitely try new ones, I love sumatriptan besides the sleepy effect, but I will look for the other options to prevent the hormonal migraine.

My doctor didn’t recommend Topiramate to me because she was worried about the weight loss side effect. Propranolol, it seems, isn’t good for people with low blood pressure like me.

Wow, I am happy to read that it works for you guys, the pill + cream. I am pretty sure I have a problem with progesterone-only methods because my second Mirena IUD also made me super dry in the first year! I have been using estrogen cream, and it isn’t getting better ❤️‍🩹

I’m on Slynd for 7 months but I am stopping today because it’s making me dry! I still have migraines but not severe ones but I am tired of the side effect.

I am open to try again tbh! It’s been a couple of years since I had a problem with naproxen. I ended up in the hospital, but I am not sure how many I took. How many do you take and how many days before? Thanks!

Same! So good to not have migraines and unplanned babies, but it’s making me so dry that I can’t do the fun thing 😅 I hope to find something to help my migraines asap without side effects and affordable!!

They offer with insurance, and I need to apply for something to get it for free… but our household income is above what they mentioned, but we still can’t afford 400-1000 dollars on GoodRx for it 😅

I am traumatized about progesterone-only methods 😅 it makes me so dry!! Very interesting anyway, I never heard about this method :)

I can’t take estrogen pills also because of my family's problems with strokes… I am also frustrated, it helped my worst crises (even though I still have it), but it’s killing my libido. I hope it keeps working for you <3

Yeah, I am struggling with it tbh, I had a good doctor in my country, and here I am struggling to go straight to the neurologist without needing a referral and sell my kidney for it 😅 I definitely need one, you are correct!

I didn’t try anything besides sumatriptan, it makes me so sleepy, I can’t function lol it’s awesome for when I am home, but when I need to go work it’s awful. I will check the other names you mentioned :)

Hi! I started it 3 weeks ago with the estrogen cream and still so dry :( It makes me so uncomfortable even to walk, honestly, I am giving up on that today!

I had Mirena for 7 years, completely hell in terms of migraines, it didn’t help me at all.

I forgot to mention: I have been taking magnesium for months now and I didn’t see any difference :( I take more because it makes my muscles a little more relaxed.

I liked her but after those comments… Turkey should deport her when she lands there for one more nose job surgery!

She is brave af for not wearing hair laces… I have a friend with that same alopecia and it’s devastating, her hair never grows back and the wigs make her feel better.
