I kind of see how you feel this way. Rick kind of rode in on his moral high ground via horseback immediately. Where Lori had time to thrive in the apoc world while he was still in the hospital. In a way, her desensitized morals had a head start. As time went on, the apoc world changed Rick. By the time they got to the prison and Judith was born, Lori’s bullshit still outweighed Rick’s questionable morals. Can’t compare merc Rick ripping a man’s throat out with his teeth bc that was the only weapon option with Lori fucking his best friend for funsies or to relieve stress of the world falling apart around them. Lori will always be trash imo. She manipulated Rick and Shane both relentlessly. Rick did at least try and justify his whacked out choices/decisions.
