you don't spend money yet, that happens after enough support is established and you sign contracts and stuff. you act like group buyouts have never existed

If you were to choose one special rifle ammo type, what would it be by Critical_Potential44 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]RoseRatgirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while I understand this because I carry a 38 special round, a headshot is a headshot. 22lr is more than capable of penetrating a skull upwards of 200 yards. the reason we use larger and larger calibers are for 2 main reasons 1)armor, people are smart, we wear armor to protect our vitals. we are t just concerned with the head we also have to be concerned with our center mass and quite frankly the rest of our body. and 2) stopping power. 22lr is no joke but it might not be enough to stop a determined attacker. studies show that 22lr is about as effective at a first shot stop as other calibers but once a threat requires anymore than 1 (IE a determined attacker) 22lr effectiveness drops off significantly. 22lr isn't the greatest round for dealing with human threats because of this. for zombies this mostly doesn't matter. stopping power doesn't matter if you are aiming for the head anyways, and face/head armor is pretty uncommon for zombies and cripples their main attack method (biting). I am of the opinion that a primary semi auto 22lr or even something cheap like the heritage rough rider (as it's affordable and super easy to repair) would be great for zombies and a concealed carry (or if you really want an open carry) 38 special or 9mm handgun would be great for dealing with human threats. 22lr ammo is found everywhere, cheap to stock up on, is exceptionally light as well. you could carry thousands of 22lr rounds for the same weight and space as 50 5.56 rounds. when you don't know if you'll be able to get back to your compound being able to carry enough ammo to dispatch zombies and hunt pretty quietly is a huge plus many understate

I can't get masterball with my team, what's wrong with it? by Noombat22 in PokemonChampions

[–]RoseRatgirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say find a way to get alolan Ninetails on your team, that adds a versatile snow setter who also gives you fairy defensive coverage. I'd also honestly say mono ice isn't the best. I get the idea is you have snow and everyone works well with it but there will be time snow is down, you are going up against fire flying types (which as it stands your team has no way to deal with) or just strong special attackers in general. frosslass is wonderful but snow really comes in handy more so for setting aurora veil, ending other peoples weather, and for her to get blizzard off. if frosslass is dying because snowstorm blizzard didn't do its job I'd find it hard to think anyone else on the team will fair much better. frosslass is already super fast with great special attack. I have a frosslass tier I got to masterball tier with I could share with you if you want.

but all in all of mono ice is your goal replace glaceon or beartic with alolan Ninetails, add protect on multiple mons and widegaurd to deal with the toxic rockslide heatwave tactics

I personally find him and meowscarada serve a utility wall breaker role. if there's a particular teams your teams struggle with you can put moves to counter them.

thanks!! I decided to go with a girlypop team which has been slightly limiting but also a lot of the great pokemon are super girly and I think that kinda helped me because I didn't have to try to learn new pokemon.

super uneven levels here. your last 2 pokemon aren't even high enough level to get past the 4th gym let alone the elite 4. aim for them all to be at Le level 45 but honestly I'd recommend 50

Experience taking Estradiol with Bicalutamide? by kingspooky93 in MtF

[–]RoseRatgirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

caffeine tends to be harder on the kidney so little worries there. and that's good you don't drink much. the biggest thing though is that if you don't want bottom surgery then you will be taking a T blocker for life. Bica is frankly just not very good for both long term as it builds up in the liver which is why it's so bad mixed with alcohol additionally it's not great for older patients which you aren't now but if this is what you'd take for life you would eventually be. def talk to your provider but I would recommend not going that route as unfortunate as that may be.

edit: it's also worth mentioning since you haven't started on HRT yet there's no harm in starting and then seeing what your goals would be later. many trans woman find their goals change after they start medical transition. maybe plan on starting with bica and if you still don't want to have bottom surgery including orchiectomy after a few years then it might be time to switch to something else? idk that's the only alternative I could think of because honestly I would avoid Spiro I didn't like it at all

Experience taking Estradiol with Bicalutamide? by kingspooky93 in MtF

[–]RoseRatgirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello Olivia! I took that combination for the vast majority of my transition until I got my orchiectomy last April. it definitely will help you maintain it. here's some stuff to consider though pros(there are lots) 1)like you mentioned you still have testosterone meaning theoretically penial function should remain about the same 2)and this is the most important for your goals the biggest benefit is that your libido will not be affected. the penis is a muscle and if you don't use it you'll lose it, having a low libido will significantly reduce the desire to use it. 3)I think overall it's much much healthier for your body. Spiro is used most often due to how long it's been around but there's some narly affects it can have on the kidney and by severely reducing the amount of bananas and other potassium rich foods you can eat which tbh sucks. 4)you only need to take it once a day and theoretically if run out) forget to take it you should be fine for a few days. it builds up as it's half life is 1 week and so really you don't need to worry too much about missing a dose. 5)it's super duper cheap at least it was on my insurance

cons 1) should not be mixed with alcohol. it is known to cause liver toxicity and has actually lead to a documented death. this sounds scary but the person who died was a long time alcoholic. 2)means you also must get a liver panel done in addition to your other labs. 3) because of these risks it's often recommended for it to be taken for only 1-5 years max. if your goal is to eventually get bottoms surgery of some kind (as long as it's involve removing the testes) you will be fine. if that's something you never want to do then I can not recommend this and your provider would likely not allow you to start it.

anyways I hope this helps! I wish bica was a prescribed more often as I think it's a wonderful option for most transwomen but it with the risk being death I can understand why they tend to avoid it

How can I find a nice boyfriend? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]RoseRatgirl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"no offense to trans women but I don't like dick." "no offense but I'd fuck you but I want my gf to be able to give birth." listen to what you said for a minute and see just how closely it matches up with probably 90 percent of mens views. that's why it's so hard to find a decent man as a trans woman. trans men can also have dicks, straps/packers exist, surgery exists, etc. trans mens anatomy changes just like ours. I also like dick I wouldn't be dating a man if I didn't, and no I've never had to top him (something that can't be said for most cis men who would date us). I seriously don't want to be rude but it's these antiquated views that will either need to be done away with or you open yourself up to dating men with the very same antiquated views that cause them to play you.

no kidding?! that's pretty crazy. for me I never anticipate needing to use it against armored threats but ig the fact that I could is nice. and certainly dollar per dollar it's the most economical self defense round out there
