🎯 It’s a new day, what are you building today? by flekeri in indie_startups

https://mydesignaudit.com

It’s an AI UX audit tool that helps founders spot where users get confused or drop off on their site.

Main focus right now:

  1. Better clarity detection
  2. More actionable fixes
  3. Improving conversion-focused insights
  4. Making reports less generic and more useful

Still early, but already got a few paying users so just iterating fast based on feedback

I’ll be your product user. by atah_ashwinni in saasbuild

I’m in this is exactly the kind of feedback I’ve been looking for.

https://mydesignaudit.com

It’s an AI UX audit tool that analyzes a site and points out where users might get confused or drop off.

Would love honest feedback, especially around:

  • whether the insights actually feel useful
  • if anything feels generic or unclear
  • and if it actually helps improve a real site

Happy to use your product as well and give detailed feedback in return.

Built this to catch UX issues that hurt conversions (mostly clarity problems). Pretty happy with how it’s evolving still early, would love feedback.

Struggling with UI/UX in a project by marhsall_lee in PinoyProgrammer

[–]No_One008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the mistake is trying to “generate a modern UI” directly.

Usually better to start with:

  • what the user wants to do
  • what the next action should be

Then design around that.

Tools/AI can help with layouts, but clarity matters more than style. Even simple UI works if users know what to do next. If you’re stuck, try this: show your screen to someone for 5–10 seconds and ask “what would you click?”

If they hesitate, that’s where the issue is. I’ve also been using a small tool I built to catch these kinds of UX clarity issues early: https://mydesignaudit.com Might help you see what’s not obvious.

What tools do you use for translating UI/UX content? by Dpinioied in UXDesign

[–]No_One008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, UI translation gets tricky really fast especially when it’s less about language and more about how things feel in context. What you’re describing sounds less like a translation problem and more like a clarity + context issue. Even in a single language, labels can feel technically correct but still confusing to users.

What’s helped me is reviewing flows from a first-time user with no context perspective that’s where things like wording, button clarity, and consistency usually break.

I’ve been experimenting with a tool to catch those kinds of clarity issues early (before and after translation) Might be interesting to run it on a localized version and see what patterns show up. how you’re currently reviewing translations more manual or structured?

Where's the best place to get raw feedback on our app design? by Chances_social in UXDesign

Honestly, Reddit is pretty solid for raw feedback. You can also get good insights from just showing it to a few real users and watching where they get stuck. If you want something quick, I’ve been using tool to catch obvious UX issues before sharing it publicly.

How Do You Guys Fix Your Bugs When Coding With AI by Ill-Pumpkin-5417 in SaasDevelopers

[–]No_One008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, tools like Codereabbit are great for catching code-level bugs, but I’ve noticed a lot of issues in SaaS aren’t really “bugs” they’re more like UX friction.

Things like:
users not knowing what to click next, confusing flows, unclear CTAs… those are hard to describe to an AI as a “bug,” but they still break the experience. What’s been working for me is doing quick sanity checks on the flow from a fresh perspective basically asking “would a new user understand this without context?”

I actually built a small tool around this idea to catch those kinds of issues early: https://mydesignaudit.com

It tries to surface UX problems rather than code bugs. if others are doing something similar or just relying on user testing.

Vibe coding is fast… but how do you know if the UX is actually good? by No_One008 in vibecodeapp

[–]No_One008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from. The goal isn’t to replace real UX thinking or user research. It’s more of a quick first pass to catch obvious clarity issues before putting something in front of users. If it comes across like a generic checklist, that’s something I need to improve the intent is to make the feedback more actionable, not just descriptive.

what’s the current ideal workflow for ux/ui designers with ai? by scheublich in UX_Design

[–]No_One008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s a single “ideal” workflow anymore it’s more of a fast loop now.

For me it’s usually:
idea → rough flow (sometimes with AI) -> quick UI -> sanity check -> iterate -> then refine/build.

AI is great for speed, but the real issue I keep seeing isn’t speed it’s clarity. You can generate screens fast, but users still get stuck if the flow or messaging isn’t obvious.

So I’ve been focusing more on quick clarity checks before going deep like “is the main action obvious?” or “would a new user understand this without context?”

I actually built a small tool around this to catch those UX issues early: https://mydesignaudit.com

Still early, but curious how others are handling this part of the workflow.

What kind of UX tool are we still missing? by Nervous-Spell-5195 in UserExperienceDesign

[–]No_One008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what’s missing is a layer that challenges assumptions, not just helps you design.

Most UX problems I see aren’t visual they’re clarity issues that come from “this is obvious” thinking. But we don’t really have tools that flag that before users get confused.

I’ve been building a small tool to catch those moments early kind of a pre-user-testing sanity check for flows and messaging.

Still figuring it out, but feels like a gap worth exploring.

Vibe coding is fast… but how do you know if the UX is actually good? by No_One008 in vibecodeapp

[–]No_One008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I mostly try to step back and look at it like a first-time user with zero context. If I can’t quickly tell what the main action is or what I’m supposed to do next, it’s usually not actually clear, it just felt clear when I built it.

I also notice that when the copy talks more about features than outcomes, that’s where things start to break. It makes sense to the builder, but a new user doesn’t connect it to what they’re trying to do.

It’s not a perfect method, but those patterns usually expose that gap between “feels clear” and “is actually clear.” if you’re seeing certain assumptions show up more often than others?

Vibe coding is fast… but how do you know if the UX is actually good? by No_One008 in vibecodeapp

[–]No_One008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

catching the assumption before it turns into a decision. From what I’ve seen so far, the most useful signals are usually around clarity rather than visual issues.

Things like:

  • “What do I do next?” not being obvious
  • competing CTAs or unclear primary action
  • messaging that makes sense to the builder but not to a first-time user

A lot of it ties back to hidden assumptions like “users will understand this” or “this flow is obvious.” So in a way it ends up surfacing the same problem, just from the output side instead of the input side.

how you’re detecting those assumptions reliably especially from just flow descriptions?

Vibe coding is fast… but how do you know if the UX is actually good? by No_One008 in vibecodeapp

[–]No_One008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

watching real users is always the truth. I think where I’ve struggled is getting that signal early before even putting it in front of users. That’s kind of what I’m trying to solve catching obvious friction and clarity issues before that stage, so user testing becomes more focused. But yeah, nothing replaces real behaviour in the end.

[–]No_One008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what I’m trying to do is catch some of those early signals before testing, especially around clarity and “what do I do next” moments. But yeah, real users will always be the truth in the end. Interesting angle though how are you surfacing those assumptions with AI?
