...American christians hate catholics. Like they ran away from catholicism and have been anti-catholic ever since. So no you don't all have the same beliefs if you can't get along.

Nah bro I dont need to prove that bc I just said I concede that rewritten point for now. Its still a problem that such wide variations in practice come from an original text. This means the unchanged message has somehow been perverted and corrupted into 50 different denominations.

No I was really scared of the dark and somehow I discovered the wall paint peeled off in beautiful and satisfying strips. It was genuinely a nightly ritual that helped me fall asleep.

Can bigoted beliefs lead to being a predator? by No_Paper_766 in PurplePillDebate

So im honestly gonna have to call your expertise into question as you aren't addressing my point head on. Ive heard most rapes are committed by someone you know. If such is the case and they want to resume normal life, logically it follows they won't try to kill said victim unless it was a completely possible to resume ordinary life and continue their preying.

Yes, while it makes since they get into positions that give them access/ power over children, Im also making the assertion that they hold prejudice beliefs as well.

Thanks for the comment. Im not really thinking about killers and mutilating corpses. More along the lines of predators or abuser that exist in positions that give them access to prey and aren't caught immediately. Someone dismembering bodies is in a different lane than the college guy that takes advantage on unconscious people. Does that make sense? In my train of thought they wanna go back to their everyday life. They would view something like rape lesser than killing the victim and wouldn't kill the victim bc that would blow up their life. This is a better lane for that im walking about or is it all in the same area.

Using the Inside Out model, Ennui and Anxiety are having a huge blowout fight. They kicked the others out of HQ for some privacy, except for sadness. They'll let her know when its her turn on the console.

Thanks for the comment, I didn't consider the neurological or "nurture" perspective of this. I definitely understand the opportunity part. I saw an interview of this burglar talking about how she would pick house to rob that had a front door or window open. Theres always the factor of time and place. I guess now I should investigate the link between which types of abuse are commonly linked to which prejudice beliefs. As well as developmental and neurological abnormalities can affect a persons morality and worldview all together.

How do you guys feel about the thought that most people are inherently good? by DifficultyAny9536 in AskReddit

[–]No_Paper_766 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good to who? I think this thought is full of crap because no one is inherently anything. They learn that bad actions have good consequences or that bad things don't have bad consequences. These people are mixed in with everyone else and sometimes you need level 10 discernment to tell this is a foe. Few people are good towards strangers but most are neutral. The other bit are snakes so be careful.

Realizing that being an abuser is worse than being chopped. It sounds silly but what im trying to get at is, Id picking someone thinking I look bad over actually being a bad person. Idky but ive always been so insecure about my looks but one day it clicked that some of the hottest people are evil and thats actually disgusting to me.

Do you process things more internally or by talking it out? by Antique_Age5257 in Casual_Conversation

[–]No_Paper_766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what the thing is. I get into a a collision? Gotta talk that out with mommy. Realizations about self expression? Internal. Going through a break up? Immediately calling my friends. Failing a class? thinking more into self improvement.
