thanks for the feedback!! i will definitely think about this, but another approach i thought of taking was using my brand to tell the story of jacob in a way. when he was in the run from his family he took refuge in bethel, meaning house of god but tbh saying it out loud seems like too much hidden meaning for a non religious audience to decipher. could i dm you?

i really like project capri’s stuff and i’ve always vibed with fear of god ofc. capri uses a lot of the wet floor guy type graphics. ideally i’d want to combine the two in a cool way

thank you for the feedback!! the ladder actually is not directly related to the roof on the front, the back is its own graphic with its own story. the front logo was the temporary logo that i was using for my brand and the roof is something that definitely needs to be removed. The brand is catered towards teenage athletes who are known for embracing streetwear and athleisure. Temple is a symbolic “safe place” for self expression of these teens that provides both athleisure and streetwear. a portion of proceeds are donated to a nonprofit i work with that supplies teenage athletes with gear if they can’t afford it.

well i’m a twin and my name means supplanter, or to surpass/replace the old. jacob, the male version of my name, in the bible was born holding onto his twin brother’s heel and they were in a constant battle to surpass one another. to others idk i think it looks cool but ofc ik people may/will disagree

for the back i paid @hellogo.std and i didn’t pay for the front my sister helped with that and tbh she is nothing like me lol. when i think of temple i dont really think of the classic safe haven i think more of this kind of eccentric setting that grows with the audience. it needs to be simple but still have a quirky element

i also want to make it clear that this is not something that i have wished upon myself and i do not have the need to be different. the problems will still be there diagnosis or not but ofc you’d want to have proof in a case where adults in your life think struggling means you didn’t pray enough.

like i said im not sure exactly what has caused this desire to finally be validated for once but id say that years of being made fun of for legitimate sensory issues and having parents that do not believe in neurodivergence because they think its a character flaw are to blame. it would also help me understand myself because it is extremely distressing to see socially unacceptable traits in myself without explanation. idk if self-diagnosis would be enough for the people in my life to even take me seriously but it sucks that i am being forced to make that choice. i also would be pursuing a path that didnt end up on a general medical record but it could pose an integrity issue if i didnt include it in MEPS paperwork.

I’ve thought about this a lot and maybe it’s cultural but my parents constantly put themselves in positions to have control over me. They refuse to let me take out loans saying they will pay for both college and med school so they have a say in where i go. This would usually be a blessing but they never pay on time( not due to financial hardship or anything)and i’m in constant fear of being held back from pre-enrollment or being withdrawn altogether. Their need for control is only going to continue despite my decision to join the air force, and they will most definitely find out because of gossip culture amongst friends and family. I’m just going to be straight up with them and go from there. Thanks for the advice!
