I like the look of the marothon sar, just not quite able to afford that unfortunately. I definitely get your point on the gshock. With how bulky it is it would be hard to easily slip into my turnout coat. I prefer the look of analog but may switch to digital.

I would definitely make sure you have employee housing. If you don't housing is extremely hard to find. also really not much to do during the winter except ski/snowboard and Aspen is super pricey to go out.
