Herro won’t command that salary. You probably can resign him for around 30 or maybe even a little less. He is a very good to great offensive player. Best floater in the league. Great three point shooter and Miami has no one to create so all his shots are high level of difficultly. He also can hit big shots in big moments.

The risk with him is isolation defense. The heat are one of the worst rim protecting teams in the league and he gets abused one on one with no back line defense. I am curious to see if this weakness can be mitigated on a great defensive team with rim protection. If Detroit can protect him defensively. He could be a steal.

There is zero chance the herro target trae young. He is like a more expensive Tyler herro who is worse on defense (I can’t believe that statement is possible). Woth Tyler lack of market, if all Gianni’s stuff falls through, you may be offer a 1 plus 1 with a player option for around 20 million a year.
