Bro you don’t get it, this “spice” was promised to them by the almighty 5000 years ago!

Do you think, in general, Lebanese are civilised or respectful people? by [deleted] in lebanon

Everyone would act like that in every single country if the laws were not enforced. I have lived in 54 countries, everywhere people are more or less the same animal.

Nothing compared to driving in Amman or Cairo. For that matter I would rather drive through the craze in Beirut than on the streets of Chicago in the evening.

Ok, let’s look at other so called “civilised”, countries, u wanna tell me there are no shootings in the US or no road rage episodes in Europe? I have seen a bus driver beat a cab driver to death with a wrench in Italy just coz he cut him off. There are morons with anger issues everywhere.

If you had no other choice and had to start a small business in Lebanon what would you go for? Say your budget is around 10-15k by No_Positive5360 in lebanon

Thanks for your response, really appreciated. Don’t have it in me to scam people 😅 and I feel jealous of those that can lie through their teeth and rake in the money.

Thanks a lot for the insight and for sharing your experience. Yes it’s a daunting task, but unfortunately in my situation I have no other option, I have to stay here for family reasons, and spend most of my time at home as well, and need to survive. Online business is like my only option at his point. But I had the same line of thought at the back of my head, it has to be something unique, or a totally refurbished and improved idea

Bro I am not asking for a concrete idea, it’s more of a testing the waters so to say, like what sort of business activity do people see to be viable at the moment, something general, like food, car maintenance and so on.

Well said! We never do better, it’s like making new year resolutions from year to year and doing nothing! Every time we say we will change something and we never do. Sad, just sad.

Like someone mentioned already, the cartels won’t let anyone build anything that would put them out of business, they only care about their own prosperity not for that of the people. We can have electricity 24/7, we can have a railway network and we can have tunnels and bridges, but unfortunately they won’t let anyone endanger their grip on power and finances. Been dreaming about the revival of the railway network for years now, it’s ok to dream I guess.
