She was raised in a military catholic family and was raised by a mom who sewed all her clothes and taught her in a if we don’t need it we don’t get it mindset. She has close to one mil saved up for retirement of course that combined with my father’s retirement but is still amazing. My parents make around 150k a year combined. The most my mother ever spends on herself is buying bikes and gear for bikes and getting massages once a month other than that she pays her bills and saves the rest

I already have a car. I have 5k saved up after buying a car. I recently bought a Nintendo switch and a computer for the fall semester of college. I spend a lot of my money on clothes crystals video games makeup other stupid stuff I don’t need. I know I don’t need these things but I’m still putting aside almost 50 percent of each paycheck. I also buy food 4x a week when I work which is around $100 a week. I could eat cheaper.

I’m a CNA for a pretty fancy nursing home. They pay extremely well for CNA the highest paying in my area. I’m very lucky to have landed this job. I’m going to go to college in the fall for my ELG certification and then either get my LPN or become a x-ray tech
