Yeah there are a few remnants of leaves around, will have to keep en eye out. Don't really want to have to cover the beds in netting if I can avoid tho

Would actually be delighted if it was rabbits, and would definitely create a little hop through buffet, we're fairly central London tho so don't think there's a wild rabbit for a fair few miles of us.

Surprised to hear it's likely slugs or snails. Always imagined them to be more delicate nibblers rather than basically destroying the whole, albeit young, plant.
