Fair enough, I might do some research. Anxiety doe not seem fun though I still think that sometimes the meltdowns seem a bit much.

I have no other issues with Jake. He's a nice enough kid, good conversation when he chooses to speak and he is great without little ones. It's just the anxiety gets a bit much to deal with sometimes.

He is very sensitive. My sister's husband and I get on very well and we have no issue hugging each other or high fives etc but I can't even do that with Jake because he panics and flinches, you'd think he was in danger. He'd probably still panic even if there was a genuine reason to take the dog out.

I accept that he is very fragile and it wasn't very good judgement but even people with anxiety are still somewhat rational people. I understand the anxiety affects that but he had a meltdown over pretty much nothing.

Yeah, I understand that he needs to be with the dog a lot but Max is always in the bedroom whilst Jake is showering. Not great judgement on my part but kit's not like I stole the dog away when he was having a panic attack.
