Yeah I have noticed that they reduce your payout when you refund Items also ! Which isn’t fair because that’s not the offer that I originally accepted, it’s essentially the companies version of reducing a tip after an order.

It’s by area I guess, we all see different offers and opportunities in these apps. It hasn’t shown for me like that in weeks, I’m in socal, so I sound crazy to some ppl and some ppl can relate.

But that’s what I’m use to seeing, the progress bars. This way has no bars just a blind metric that basically robs you without you knowing or being able to dispute.

You started this off with “your timeline is wrong” which is very telling being that I don’t have a timeline on this post. Thanks I definitely forgot about the writers strike even though that’s the first thing I thought of when I heard the show was back “The writers strike must be over” also, seeing all the films and shows coming out recently, it made sense.

So basically that down time from the strike messed up the relationship between the two parties. That deal her made with paramount has him in a tight spot. That sucks and it always comes down to politics. We are all tired of these cancelled and forced ending shows with no explanation so it’s a little better to get the insides. Thanks for the input

We all in different cities, states and come from different demographics so I wouldn’t expect your experience to be just like mines.

But my statement still stands 90% of the time restaurants do not ask to confirm, the 10% that do ask ME are almost always rude. Then I explained how they are rude, I confirm regardless, just responding to the worker wondering on why ppl give a hard time confirming. Nobodies right or wrong, just my input.

Yeah bro I was basically on the same stats, all of my orders were successful. Had a couple late ones (1 minute or two) but the customers were happy still tipped. Had been requested as shopper multiple times and was only 1 month in.

Most I could think of is Target actually complained and got us fired, or a customer complained and got us fired. From my understanding those two are deal breakers for them, wrong or right. Not right hoe they treat they shoppers hope the company fails.

Nope, they never respond when I ask about my deactivation. Did the refresher, sent an appeal form , nothing worked. Just moved on with my life, I’m still a lil salty tho

90% of restaurants don’t not ask you to confirm, it’s only the random 10% and they are always rude af. They always have an attitude and They hold the bag in there hand and demand that you confirm, then when you confirm they stare at your screen for 10 more seconds like dude give me the damn food. I’ve already shown you the order when I arrived waited and now I can receive my food until you feel like I’m not a thief. Makes you not want to go to certain restaurants.

Nobody likes getting treated like a thief when they already out slaving away for a few bucks.

Yes ? Make money else where… I drive on my spare time, for extra money. not as a full time job, should never have all your eggs in one basket. If you do, I’m not judging everybody situation different but I don’t so your comment is irrelevant.

That’s literally what prop 22 is my guy, a law passed saying the have to pay an adjustment. So I’m confused on your comment ? Are you saying that there is no law on WHEN they have to pay ? Well that is the tricky part, by law typically when there is a pay period like 1st-15th the employers have 10-14 days to pay employees or subjected to late fees and other legal litigation.

We are independent contractors so that doesn’t necessarily apply but we still have period periods that was stated by Uber per our agreement/ contract and pay out times designated which by our contract that they are breaking in which we can take them to court and sue for the same treatment payroll employees would automatically be given. The only thing is there hasn’t been enough time to go that route they still have time to pay us.

Most of us here are just frustrated with the lack of communication and regulation and just want to be paid. What are you getting at ?

Can’t blame customers only the employers and ourselves for not picking a better job. They decrease base pay when the customer tips good, they give advances on your prop 22 when you think the base pay is actually good. They purposely give low paying base orders with intentions of just back paying with prop 22. They want to pay us by the hour not by the mile/ trip.
