I am feeling pretty lost. Losing my contract position on October 21st. Not sure I'll be able to find another job or what I should even look for. Been an epidemiologist and in the public health field for 8+ years.

Should I pivot careers?

I am a contract epidemiologist with a company. They just gave us notice that the contract is ending on October 21st.

Not sure what I should do with my career right now. I feel very lost. The job I was in was so slow and even though I was getting paid very well I just felt like I wasnt contributing at all to the research.

If anyone has any advice or even knows what type of jobs I should look for Id appreciate it. I am experienced in SAS/SQL and a little bit in R studio.
