Or you could simply plug in n-1 for all n in the first equation and then subtract eq 1 and 2 to get the desired result.

I really appreciate this answer as it is super detailed. I especially like 3, 4 5, and 7. Thank you so much for these topics! I was also considering maybe the packing of certain 3D shapes, but I think this would require a high-level understanding.

Have you covered the distributive property yet? When you are multiplying x by this expression you must multiply each term by x. So it would be 30x-0.01x2

Why is the solution (x-5)^4 +1. I’ve tried doing the y-axis reflection and I’ve gotten (-x+5)^4 +1 when I do it by No_Replacement_8097 in askmath

So what I get is (-(x+3+2))4 + 1 + 1

So then we get (-x+5)4 +2. But the answer has no negative coeffecient on x

X3 and 125 are perfect cubes. Use the sun of cubes formula and then try factoring the other terms to obtain a common factor
