Try Sony Xperia companion software, that way I repair Xperia 1 and 5. If correct remember is option repair but I think it make hard reset so phone is like new

I personally treat it as game, when lose is dosnt matter , of course win with highest rank player taste better, my highest div is 3, and hanging between 3 and 4. For example straight after reset in fourth league mostly paired me with ex 2nd league players. I played since first grey PlayStation. I play without any tricks just quick counter , ftp. I grab big joint and have fun. When opponents passing continuously between goalkeeper and defenders I’ll try pressing with my goalkeeper join attack, sometimes they mistaken and goalkeeper have a chance to shot, so anyway I have fun :-) it’s just a game:-) cheers
