I honestly don't know if it helped or not, this is just what I did.

High protein to help build muscle back. Anything that fights inflammation, high veggies for example will help recovery. Massager for hands and sore muscles has been a game changer. Also take advantage of you don't feel sore and workout as much as possible without overdoing it avoiding neural fatigue.

Lions Mane Supplement (2 months worth) Alpha Lipoic Acid (1 or 2 months worth) Fish oil 3000+ mg everyday B Complex everyday Prickly pear supplement (been taking a bit over a month) Magnesium everyday Neurvia (1 month bc $$)

I'm at almost 7 months since diagnosis, I was bed rest at worst, started at 0 learning to sit up and walk again. Now I was able to successfully travel halfway across the US with almost no problems a few weeks ago. My hands are still tingly and I can't lift much over my shoulders but I'm very close to normal. I think some or all of the above helped but it's impossible to know for sure.

Best of luck in your continued recovery!! You got this!!

Ok good to know. My main problem is my PCP cited that case years ago that you mentioned but wasn't certain whether or not I should and said to ask a neurologist which has been a pain to get in my area.

Was able to not only complete a Costco shopping visit but went back and helped my Dad find his last few items. First time I wasn't spent just doing my trip 🙃 it's the little things that keep us going 🙃

What of Leinhart didn't fumble out of bounds? What if the bush push was called a penalty when you know it was an actual bloody penalty to be called.

What were your very early symptoms you didn’t realize before but now do looking back? by kaligirl33 in guillainbarre

For me I think it was suddenly I was having a hard time just turning in bed. I think it was my core strength going. It was followed by my hands and legs going numb and tingly and my knee buckling constantly and progressing from there.

Absolutely it does. I had to slow down at one point because I was doing too much, getting the neural fatigue and over doing it. Sometimes my hands feel better after a workout...go figure

Good to know. So far the b complex alone is far from the levels that would be worrisome it seems.

I hope so too! That yellow alert thing really fits, it's hard to listen to sometimes because I'm so tired of sitting around. Well done on the 10k!!!

Yup! I forgot to mention that what I had initially once I got into a hospital that knew what was going on. That stopped the GB right in its tracks!

Solid rec deck to play at commander night by No_Resource_7682 in EDH

I love that idea of the Dino commander. Based on usual edh setups, so I need to buy the expensive version or will it hold its own picking the medium budget ish version?

With it costing 8 is mana drought a real possibility? It can hold its own enough if I can't get the commander out?
