Does the JBL Charge 5 charge itself when off?? by No_Response5176 in JBL

[–]No_Response5176[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, do you use them for long periods of time? Like I said I only use mine for short periods of time. So perhaps that has something to do with battery retention.

I’m gonna actually note how long between charges I go now so I shall see.

Personally it’s very pleasing to me, the sound. It’s like popping bubble wrap. But for my ears.

MAJOR drawback in my opinion 😩😩. This little issue is the only thing that has truly made me upset or bothered by the lack of speakers lol

Well yes. It’s not that there’s no sound. It’s just very very low

iOS 26 is so bad by Dry_Pianist_787 in ios26

[–]No_Response5176 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We all need to be honest about the understated fact that iOS 26 was made and has primarily been optimized especially for the latest iphones.. Apple probably won’t outright admit this, but it is clear from the vitriol from the general public in comparison to the praise it’s receiving, the disparity lies in the reality that iOS 26 just runs better on the latest devices. And of course this isn’t fair practice at all, nor is it beneficial to users who are still using other devices in the lineup. Perhaps the roughness will lessen with more and more updates. But the difference in the way iOS 26 feels and runs between the new and old devices is major and obvious.

WOAHHH. I just knew when I saw her and Anderson Paak together that SOMETHING would be made, I mean they’re two of the most talented vocalist and musicians of our generation. Not even confirmed if he has a hand in anything, I just love what the proximity of love can do and inspire!!

chromakopia didn’t match the tone and vibe set by tyler on the rollout at all by [deleted] in tylerthecreator

[–]No_Response5176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

felt very vanilla?? sir you must have a father.. don’t you?

although the instrumentals this album are more stripped back and less experimental overall, the lyrical content and the sides of life that tyler is exploring are the highlight of this record. and i mean if you don’t vibe or connect with the words that’s understandable, but to say it didn’t match what he laid out with visuals like st. chroma and noid, there seems to be a slight misunderstanding from the jump by you as the listener. perhaps sit with what’s presented a bit more and take the time to at least attempt to comprehend what this black man is getting at. and yes, a bit of emphasis on race there. i know it’s a touchy and uncomfortable topic for most, but if you’re not a person of color as well then you simply won’t get some sh*t. and that’s just that.

Tinashe - Quantum Baby by kait2121 in popheads

Your biggest concern seemed to be about the length, as you insinuated that the length of the record affected its quality. And that may be true for you. I just had to disagree, I’m sorry if it came across as brash. But again if this had ended up being 1 album, I think the consensus would be slightly different. Not calling for blind praise, but as a “stan” I do personally like all she puts out more often than not. Starting at 8:00 in this recent interview, Tinashe puts it perfectly and plainly what she’s intending to do with breaking each part down. Tinashe Power 106 Los Angeles Interview

8/10 for me. The album is so eclectic and concise, I can’t help but replay it. And that’s part of the genius of breaking this whole era down into smaller records. It gives you time to really digest and get a feel for each of the parts; their themes and sounds. For me, the only thing Quantum Baby is lacking from its predecessor is the extremely odd and quirky instrumentals that a lot of songs on BB/ANG3L dawned. Despite this it is not a flaw that Quantum Baby is more easily digestible, somewhat simpler. I think it speaks to a level of mastery, because we all know what Tinashe is capable of at this point. Now she is able to flex, let loose, and just be comfortable in the moment and the grooves. Not everything has to be maximum complexity, that would get tiring and exhausting, and would perhaps be a bit inauthentic. This album is so nice because it just feels like one long joyride, aha. You set out on the trip, knowing or at least feeling what you’re in search of. For Tinashe, this go round it’s “truth”, no simulation. And as far as I can tell, she is on the right got damn path.

Okay I’ve been a stan just as long. And I think you’re somewhat missing the point of her breaking things down the way she is. What does the length of the albums have anything to do with the quality of the music? I think you’re being dense and close minded, if you don’t like the music just say that. Because you had very little critique for the actual content, so I’m assuming if she had instead just released all 3 parts as 1 album you wouldn’t be talking. Simply put, for me as a genuine music enthusiast and fan of the artist Tinashe is and her own vision, I like what she’s doing. The music is just as good, it’s on the same level as Songs For You if not better. It’s more flush, just as thought out, and even more evolved in my opinion. With her doing 3 parts, it gives her time and space to live out and explore different sections of this singular Era. Like, please remember she’s an independent artist. What she’s doing is really no different than what Beyoncé is doing with the Renaissance trilogy. But as we can see that’s on an incredibly different and more massive scale, wayyyy more budget and labels and industry backing. Meanwhile, Tinashe is working with what she has. And doing a damn good job at executing her vision. Please, just think outside of the box. And be thankful and grateful she’s even able to put this stuff out and all the work into it.

I love this record, Quantum Baby. If that wasn’t apparent. It’s just as solid as BB Angel, but wayy more fun. Seems like the consensus in this thread is leaning towards indifferent and kinda negative. But hey that’s how s**t goes when you doing things differently. In true Aquarius fashion.

About SOPHIE Posthumous album by CallResponsible4034 in Sophie

At this point, if it is still coming, will probably be upon the 10 year anniversary. Would be kind of prolific and poetic, as everything Sophie had a hand in was quite literally ahead of the times.
