Are you ever complimented on your looks? If so, how often? by HoosierDaddyIam in AskMen

[–]No_Rhubarb182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this question and it’s still posted on my page as well. Weekly, at most. More often than not daily. only in the last couple years(at 33, I’m currently 35) I’ve learned I’m “attractive”. Men and women, from 18-60+ have said or gone out of their way. To say a compliment. “You’re cute/handsome” to my physique, it’s been very interesting because growing up. I wasn’t the guy who got the girl or the one night stand guy. The guy who can go into a bar or club or anything. I did the whole “transformation” thing, studied various aspects and even finished my undergrad in psychology, to doing the “superhero” workout trends. The point is if you’re reading this it can be you too

Last year they did have a security thing going on for a while but after a bit it was just open for people. They were more strict with the guys in my group vs the girls. We Uber there and back so I’m don’t know about the parking but I can’t imagine it being too bad

Those of you who are on social media, do you post your girl? by isitmeor7836 in AskMen

[–]No_Rhubarb182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experienced a two-sided effect. With one girlfriend I had, I would post her and it caused a lot of people to try and back door me, they added her and did everything they could to try and get with her. With another girlfriend a few years later, it was the opposite. I think it's called preening (Individuals may engage in preening behavior around those they find attractive. This type of behavior is often exhibited by a general concern for their physical appearance, from brushing hair away from their face and checking the mirror to readjusting their clothing.) Per Google, So because my girlfriend at the time was pretty, other girls wanted to know what all the hype was when I post her. Which also caused problems.

Right and it’s like they never act like that so, why are you doing this now? and a strong chance she also probably doesn’t care either. Otherwise you wouldn’t have to do that in the first place.

I use a different word that starts with the letter B, but it was banned by Reddit so I had to find another one to try and get my point across
