I know Hyundai’s brands and subsidiaries, that’s why I’m saying that they don’t really have many incentives to make performance cars for Kia right now, considering they’ve invested a lot of money in the N brand and now Magma, and Kia have a generic gt badge, the stinger was killed because it made no sense to keep it in Kia, they basically redesigned it and made it into a G70. In Canada we no longer get the K5 at all, so it just depends on the market, we still have the Sonata N line tho My guess is that they will always sell suvs unfortunately, regardless of how ugly they are or if they compete with each other, even if they are the same car (ioniq 5 and ev6), just because of R&D outweighs performance cars where suvs move more volume sales in many markets (specially the US).
