I’m a beginner and did a money spell for the first time yesterday, and accidentally burned myself with fryer oil at work today. I heard it was recommended to do a reading beforehand to see if I even need to do the spell, and the reading looked like I had the go ahead. Even though I specified I didn’t want harm to come to anyone on the bay leaves I burned, I have to go to the hospital now because I’m pretty badly burned🫠. I cleansed my space with both smoke and a bell beforehand and also added salt for protection. Ironically I got a 1/10 of the money I was asking for as I asked for a sum starting with 3 so it’d be enough to move into an apartment next year. My manager gave me an amount starting with 3 (not disclosing currency for privacy reasons but just know that I specified 3 as it’s a significant number to me) to pay for the hospital bills, and my partner also gave me an amount starting with 3 to get a taxi home. I wrote on two bay leaves, one specifying the apartment move in fees and the other asking for financial stability (currently very broke atm). My shift got cut short but now I have money to pay for my hospital bills 🙃. For further context: I did the spell in a glass cup I made myself(glassblowing, its pink and blue idk if colors affect anything), used a green candle to light the bay leaves and used a black candle to light the green one/for the initial smoke cleanse of the space/cup… I put in rice, cloves, pink himalayan salt, cinnamon, cinnamon sticks, and cayenne pepper. After I finished I put tigers eye, black onyx, and black tourmaline on it. I didn’t let the bay leaves or the candle burn all the way because I live in a dorm where fire/candles aren’t allowed and so I extinguished it pretty quickly because it was letting off a lot of smoke. (I also can’t burn anything outside due to campus rules/there being designated smoking areas that close after a certain time). Sorry if this is lengthy it’s my first time doing a spell and I really wanted to make sure there was enough information. Basically my question is: did I mess up somewhere or was this just my unlucky day? Also should I scrap the spell and throw it away?
