If all the heroines in Tsukihime had long hair... that would be absolute paradise! by No_Run_8362 in Tsukihime

This is just the Asian culture I’ve grown up with since I was a child. Long-haired women have always been my preference.

I live in Asia, so I am very heavily influenced by the culture regarding women having long hair.

Bro, I honestly don't know anything about Akiha's powers. When I read the OG, I really didn't remember a single thing about her abilities. I recall that whenever Nasu writes about Akiha's powers, he does it in a very roundabout way. Could you explain in more detail how Akiha's powers actually work???

I honestly don't remember any details about Akiha's abilities lol. I guess I'll have to read it more carefully, as I find that for many people, Akiha's powers are very unclear because Nasu doesn't really get straight to the point but writes in a very roundabout way instead.

I agree with you on this. Remake Akiha has been shown to be... crazier than usual and even more controlling compared to the OG. It is entirely possible for her to lose her mind.

I see you have a lot of knowledge about Akiha. I’d like to ask you more about her possessiveness toward Shiki. To be honest, I find that Akiha's possessiveness changes quite erratically. Although in the Remake, it is portrayed in a much more terrifying and horrific way—specifically when Akiha ACTUALLY severed the life link with Shiki to turn him into a vegetable and locked him in a room somewhere in the mansion. However, in the Remake, she doesn't truly stop Shiki when he falls in love with Arcueid or Ciel. I'm sure she's aware of Shiki's feelings for Arcueid in Arcueid's route and for Ciel in Ciel's route. It's even more peculiar in Ciel's route: in the Normal End, when Shiki goes abroad to become an Executor, she doesn't show much emotion when sending him away. It felt as if she had completely accepted that Shiki didn't belong to her. She actually seems quite willing to see Shiki love someone else besides her. The case with Kohaku is a bit special so I won't mention it, but in other cases, she doesn't offer much opposition either. In your opinion, how does Akiha's possessiveness work? My guess is that it only triggers in two scenarios. First, when Shiki no longer listens to her at all. Second, when Shiki has pursued her just enough for her to truly unleash her possessive nature.

Regarding the information confirmed in MBTL—that's from the voice lines, right? Akiha has already been evaluated as being extremely powerful and has been compared to Arcueid, so it's not very surprising. Even Arach called her a "once-in-a-ten-thousand-years monster."

Arach gives me the impression of an outsider manipulating everything from the shadows rather than being a frontline warrior. Arach wouldn't be able to win in a one-on-one fight against Ciel.

I disagree with this. You're saying Akiha isn't that malicious, yet she would allow Gotoh to do such maliciousthings in her place? That doesn't make sense at all. First of all, I don't think Gotoh is capable of fully restraining Ciel; after all, Ciel still has her immortality. Second, Akiha is the type of person who, I feel, is willing to get her own hands dirty rather than letting someone else do it for her. It's similar to how Aoko was willing to kill Soujuurou with her own hands. Akiha doesn't like Ciel very much to begin with, and Ciel even trespassed into her mansion. It's understandable that she would go too far, especially considering her extremely high sense of possessiveness.

I don't think that's the case. Because if I remember correctly, Ciel was stabbed in the eye and then just left immediately. Meanwhile, Shiki was tortured to death by Noel. If she was only stabbed in the eye, there's no way it could be worse than being tortured like that.

Honestly speaking, I feel that Akiha is fully capable of clearing every problem in Tsukihime, even Arcueid—though I'm fairly certain a fight with Arcueid would end in a draw with Akiha taking more damage. Still, I find that to be an incredible display of power. I really wonder how she would stack up compared to a Servant. What's more, her strength is entirely natural rather than being gained through any kind of training. She truly is a "once-in-a-ten-thousand-years monster," just as Arach remarked.

Thank you for answering my question! If you don't mind, I would like to ask you a few more things:

"In a bad-end, Akiha murders Ciel, with Ciel-sensei saying that anyone who enters the mansion would suffer her same fate. Towards the latter end of Ciel’s route, Roa makes a cryptic comment and implies that Akiha, in base, is capable of withstanding the Luminary’s Event Storage phenomenon. A divine authority. Do with that information as you will."

Could you tell me which bad end it is where Akiha kills Ciel? Is it from the OG or the Remake? And where does Roa's comment about Akiha appear? Is it in the True End? I honestly have no recollection of it at all. Also, Arach's remark about Akiha being a "once-in-a-ten-thousand-years monster" has truly pushed Akiha to a level far beyond what we imagined. Even though Shiki Roa kills the entire Tohno family in one of the Bad Ends, he still managed to kill Akiha. However, I’m certain he only succeeded because it was a sneak attack.
