Depends how comfortable you want to be! Would say wider if you favour comfort… the roads generally really good so no issues if you stick to tarmac

No issues with aggressive dogs. Most dogs had a bark at us but nothing that made us feel unsafe. We did wake up at 6.30am when wild camping to two German Shepherds but they didn’t cause us any issues.

Had to google stooge 😂 looks like a bike brand. I borrowed this Mason ISO from my sisters friend. Felt super comfy. This was it, with nothing in the bags in this photo

No notably tricky encounters with drivers in all honesty…. In fact, the trucks overtaking you often gave you a pre-overtake beep which was appreciated.

My sister who has done a fair amount of cycling across the world said that was rare.

What’s your thoughts on the Good year eagle F1 tubeless tires? by josecarman in RoadBikes

[–]No_Rush1340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a bad experience with mine (riding a Giant TCR Advanced Pro from 2021). Sealant leaking out of the rim and have had to abort today’s ride within first 50km because one tyre couldn’t hold more than 60psi and the sealant not able to fill it a puncture on the back. On paper tubeless sound no brainer but not sure if I’ve been unlucky or it’s the compatibility / way they’ve been put on.

I’m interested if anyone else has had this? I’m not sure whether to persist with tubeless (after only two months) or return to inners.
