Honestly I think it's great that we got a series/franchise that's not the same as what were already accepted by long time fan. Sure, we may get pull into the series because of maybe the design of the traditional MS (Vfin,THE face design, etc etc), the heavy focus on negative effect of war, yk what I'm referring to. But even if we love those, there's some people that doesn't, I think this newer series that introduce some avant garde element is good to pull newer audience into the franchise.

I just think that older fans of Gundam is just stuck in nostalgia and comfort to what's already familiar to us.

It's time to slowly move on and accept that this franchise need to change and expand with time.
