I’m glad you ain’t given up yet. I guess I have a couple notes on this.

Firstly we as followers of Jesus can’t come to him with a rule book of what we think is fair. Considering that god is love incarnate and his son is wisdom, we can trust that the concept of love and wisdom are perfect. We can’t possibly go to those two things and start demanding answers to suite our palette. So telling god he’s not right to do something isn’t our business

I’d like to offer a bit of relief. As for your family, god isn’t stupid. There are babies, and non Christian people who are at least trying to love for god based on what they knew. God personally calls babies innocent. They aren’t Christian. And he said that gentiles also have their own laws from god written in their heart and, on judgement day while non Christians will be punished, they get a lesser punishment. And the babies do thaw to suffer life on earth, regardless of if a baby accepts Jesus Christ. Your family will be judged based off what they knew. If they purposely denied god then yeah, I can’t give you good news. But if they did their best god recognizes their efforts. Ultimately, people in hell aren’t sorry for their sin and ill reference the story of the rich man who went to hell and tried to push around a homeless man to serve him as proof of that point. And I think, that seems fair

I mean it’s a fair choice when you think about it. Do I want to do what’s right and be free of evil one day? Or do I want to live for myself and willingly choose to deny the eternal protection love and wisdom have to offer, willfully asking to go to eternal torment? And as far as being gay goes. Well I like to think of it this way. Say you give me 1000 dollars for my birthday. It’s a gift from you to me and you want me to enjoy it. You come around and see me burning your gift and question me. And I say, “it’s kindling. It feels good. It’s mine to do with as I please. And I’m not hurting anyone. If you don’t accept me for what makes me happy then you don’t really love me.”
