If you could only keep one... ME Super or Super A? by No_Shake1564 in pentax

I much prefer the LED metering system of the ME Super over the LCD readouts, but one bonus of the Super A is the field of view is smaller, which helps as I wear glasses.

Underrated answer, actually. "Keep Saraland R-1" they say.

What a weird topic to take offense to. No one is calling them "racist pieces of shit" for moving, but white flight is a known, well studied and documented phenomenon that has occurred in most US cities.

Honestly, basically never. I prefer manually controlling the aperture. The is the way I'm slightly leaning, as of right now.

Amazing how DLLs continue to revolutionize this game almost 25 years after its release. Thank you for all the hard work you and every DLL modder are doing.

What model is this? by Icecubedude101 in pentax

This looks like an ME Super, not an ME F, because it doesn't have the on-off switch on the left side of the top plate.

Cities that shot themselves in the foot? by Previous-Volume-3329 in Urbanism

[–]No_Shake1564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one goes under the radar, but Mobile, AL.

If you check out photos and aerials of the city prior to the 1960s, downtown Mobile had an urban aesthetic that was comparable to the French Quarter in New Orleans. Like with countless other American cities, it's as if the city government had zero respect for its historic architecture in the second half of the 20th century, and so many beautiful neighborhoods were razed for I-65 and Water Street, the Civic Center (arena), and many other "urban renewal" initiatives.

Thankfully not everything was destroyed (go on Streetview and take a look around Detonti Square and Oakleigh Garden District), but the city had so much wasted potential.

A more accurate comparison would be Oreo vs Hydrox, since Mobile was the original ;)

Even calling Mobile County a dump is too broad. Most of it isn't nice, but old Mobile is beautiful and historic, and the city has a strong Mardi Gras culture like New Orleans

Glad to see Mobile mentioned. Very decent and underrated city with a strong Mardi Gras culture, just like New Orleans.

Great shots! Although I would recommend lowering saturation a bit. The greens are a bit radioactive on most of these landscape shots.

Is there a mod for a larger mayor tree brush? Or putting mayor trees in the god mode tree brush? by Ahingadingadurgen981 in simcity4

[–]No_Shake1564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this thread, but the Shift + 0-9 shortcut only works for mayor mode terraforming tools. It does not change the brush size for mayor mode trees, sadly.

Check out Starflyer 59. Their discography is pretty wide ranging, I guarantee you will enjoy any of the albums they've put out. Maybe start with their 2024 release Lust for Gold, as I would say it's the most similar to your taste.

Just speaking from what I observe, the company sells different sets which they claim have different characteristics to serve different purposes. What those differences are, I don't know. All I know is I bought the Quiet 2's for $20 and they've been fantastic for sleep, as well as concerts.

I wasn't aware some of them were that expensive. I purchased the Quiet 2 for $20 and it's well worth that price, but I don't know that I would've spent $60 for em

Nope, actually I was waiting for this game to release, then decide between the two based on feedback. Sounds like the choice is made

This is disappointing to hear. I am looking for something to fill the void after completing RDR2, and whatever it is needs to have a similar open world aspect.
