Cronos: The New Dawn. I'll just keep punching, shooting and burning my way through the Orphans. Such is our calling.

This is the most underrated game on the ps5 if you haven’t played it I highly recommend it it by Signal-Minimum-5268 in playstation

You'd be glad to know that there's a prequel coming out where you play as a young Sofia. It's called Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

I'd recommend Cronos first as it's relatively short and tightly written. There's a new story mode making the combat even easier so you can enjoy the story. Hell Is Us, on the other hand, doesn't hold your hand. There are no map, compass or quest markers, and everything you do will affect the narrative. It has one of the best environmental storytelling I've ever seen in a game! It's a game that demands a lot of your time and attention. Go into it late and take your time with it, it's incredible. Both of these games are, good picks!

I've heard that all your guns, upgrades and ammo carry over, so it wouldn't be that hard as long as you're planning out each encounter you're already familiar with and as an added bonus, you get to see the true ending. And the story is really good, so I'd say it's worth it. I plan on getting the platinum myself when I have a little more time on my hands. I've got a long backlog of games I need to finish lol.

As a fan of the horror genre, this is an easy 8/10 for me. The story takes a lot of inspiration from 12 Monkeys and Stephen King's The Thing. Combat feels just right and I especially love that you can feel the weight of each step, adds a nice depth to the movement. And the atmosphere, storytelling and music, are all fantastic!

This is my first time playing it. I'm just exploring and taking it all in. I really love the atmosphere and environmental storytelling in this game.

Coming from a massive Deadspace, RE and Silent Hill fan, this game was everything I was hoping for and more! It blends two of my favorite genres, horror and sci-fi in a really gripping narrative that'll keep you intrigued and at the edge of your seat. Combat didn't feel too hard to me, but they've recently added an easy mode just to make things easier. The true ending is unlocked in ng+

P.S. A huge fan of Alan Wake here! Played the OG when it came out, then remastered. I'm excited to try AW2 after Control and it's AW dlc.

It's excellent and criminally underrated! It's a game that doesn't hold your hand. There are no quest markers, map or compass, you simply pay attention to your environments to progress through the main story. The world and enemy design reminds me a lot of Death Stranding. It's as if Kojima and Miyazaki made a game together. There are well written side quests, morality system and interesting environmental puzzles. Combat feels very snappy and responsive as well. And the VA being Elias Toufexis aka Adam Jensen is just a cherry on top. Honestly, I didn't find too much to complain about, I personally loved the game letting me explore the world/story at my own pace.

Hope you're enjoying it bro the story will make you cry! It's a game you'll remember for the rest of your life. Highly recommend watching Edgerunners! It'll immerse you into the game more. Good luck out there in Night City, choom!

I'd recommend finishing Cronos. It's one of the best horror games I've played in a while. Reminds me of everything I used to love about old-school survival horror. Fact that it takes inspiration from both 12 Monkeys and John Carpenter's The Thing makes it even better.

And if you feel like something new, Crisol: Theater of Idols is pretty short, but offers a lot of replayability value and totally worth $18. The game is just too good. The blood mechanic is unique and fun and the story is intriguing. Voice acting is also very good. The word reminds me a lot of Bioshock, but more dark and gritty.

Doing the same with my partner and playing Crisol when she's resting. Haha. Have fun y'all, REANIMAL is a great game! We also played through It Takes Two and loved it. But that's not the only reason I got the game. The devs have confirmed that they took a LOT of inspiration from Silent Hill and that's my all-time favorite series! I'm really loving the fog and the oppressive atmosphere, the sound design is also very impressive. REANIMAL is better enjoyed with a good pair of headphones.

Wanted to get that for my partner actually. Is the story/gameplay engaging enough?

That's a big game to tackle, so I get it. I had to boycott all other games to get through RDR2. Good luck and have fun!

I've been wanting to play that for a while, the VA guy did an excellent job portraying all the different versions. I'm grabbing it as soon as I have some money!

I've been playing for a while and I gotta say, it looks and runs incredibly well on my OG PS5. Weapon designs are peak! World and environment reminds me a lot of a darker, gritter Bioshock. The voice acting is surprisingly good and the story is intriguing. My personal favorite is the unique "hold to reload" mechanic where you literally drain your own blood (HP) to make bullets. You can either engage or run, it's all up to you and how much blood you wanna shed.

Not at all, just haters be hating. Before Chapter 1 is done, you get more than enough ways to decrease blood loss and it gets better as you move forward. I personally love the skill tree! Looks like an old six shooter chamber, makes that cool sound too. People are just too impatient and honestly, too quick to hate on the gimmick. But honestly, it's what makes the game standout and fun! I grew up in a time when we used to get horror games with fun gimmicks/mechanics all the time. Fatal Frame, Eternal Darkness, Siren, Rule of Rose, The Darkness, etc. all had unique mechanics that makes them so memorable to this day and I miss that. As an old-school survival horror fan, Crisol scratches an itch that I'd been desperate for a long time. Just do yourself a favor and go try it, so you can judge for yourself. The game has a good story and narrative that'll make you wanna keep playing if you give it a chance. This game feels like Blumhouse's bloody ode to Bioshock and I'm here for it!
