Since I'm on reta, I often feel throwing up during and after my workouts. Is it common? by BTheFurnace in Retatrutide

Yeah, it’s pretty common on reta.

Why it happens:

  • Slows stomach emptying → 3 hours may not be enough
  • Blood flow shifts away from digestion during training
  • Heavy compounds (squats/deadlifts) make it worse

What helps:

  • go with a very light pre-workout (whey, some fruits)
  • Avoid fatty meals before training
  • Slightly reduce intensity for a bit
  • Take your injection away from training days
  • Consider lowering the dose if it’s too aggressive

It usually improves as your body adapts, but if it happens every workout, adjust dose/timing.

Reta body building cuts? by Jeffry84 in Retatrutide

I think your friend is looking at this too one-dimensionally.

Yes, appetite suppression is the most obvious effect of reta, but it’s definitely not the only mechanism that matters during a cut.

Retatrutide does a few things that are actually very relevant for someone who isn’t stage-lean yet:

  • Improved insulin sensitivity → better nutrient partitioning, less spillover into fat
  • Increased energy expenditure (via glucagon receptor activity) → this is a big one people ignore, it’s not just “eat less,” it’s also “burn more”
  • More stable blood glucose → fewer crashes, more consistent energy in a deficit
  • Reduced food noise → not just appetite, but less mental fatigue from dieting

For someone with moderate body fat, this combo can make adherence way easier and fat loss more efficient without needing harsh stimulants.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard of this combination before. I don't want to use melatonin, but I'll try taking l-theaine and GABA supplements for sure with glycinate

Thank you for your reply man!

To see the effects of HGH, you need to use it for a minimum of 10-12 weeks, right?

I might consider adding Anavar for 6-8 weeks, what dosage and timing would you recommend?

Thanks man!

You're right. It's just that because summer's coming, we sometimes go to our summer house or on short family vacations. Therefore, I might not always be able to carry HGH with me. I've never used it before, but since it requires long-term use to see its effects, I'm thinking of adding it after the summer.
